Torchwood 1.08: They keep killing...

*bounces* Yay! Torchwood was good! Although last week's ep was surprisingly enjoyable, it had a plot as predictable as a Mills and Boon novel. But this week we got all sorts of twists and turns and the sort of stuff I was hoping for when it first started. And of course...

But to use this quote again:

...and I am quite, quite certain that every single pairing is canon. Just watch an episode, pick any two of the main characters, and I can pretty much assure you that it's either canon or will be canon in the near future. It's just a fanfic-writer's dream.

This show is insane! Anyway, on with the show...
I loved the twists. Yes it was all a little contrived, but hey - it's a show about aliens. Mostly I think I just like *any* show where characters can be brought back from the dead. It's a thing. The relationship or vibe between Suzie and Gwen was very well done. Suzie so jealous and using Gwen to get back to life, and yet attached to her. Worked for me anyway. Lots more I could mention, but I don't have the time.

Although of course I *loved* the ending! I'd never thought a stopwatch could be used for innuendo, but there you go. Very effective. Of course it makes no sense continuity wise, what with Ianto's evil robo girlfriend of only 4 episodes ago, and the whole "You're the biggest monster down here!", but if we choose to dismiss that sorry mess as some sort of dream I think it could work rather nicely! :)

Must run - Darcy came home from work ill yesterday, and is still unwell - hence I will have even less time for LJ than usual (I'm being unsociable! *sigh*). But I should be back tomorrow with fic! *smooches to all*
