SHE'LL DO! :D

(Seriously, just WRITING 'she'... Eeee. *flails*)
ETA: I love the aesthetic of these mini videos. The nature intertwined with the magical/otherwordly. It sits right, and also has a very different textural feel to Moffat. (Which is good. Nothing will ever be Moffat Who, so I want a complete change.)
Also Thirteen's personal aesthetic is very much to my liking. <3
ETA2: I THINK THEY CHOSE WELL:
"It means remembering everyone I used to be, while stepping forward to embrace everything the Doctor stands for: hope. I can’t wait.”

As for me, I'm waiting to see how it's handled. If it's shoved in our faces for the entire time, that won't make the case. The Doctor adapts and moves on to what is happening in the universe. If she gets on with traveling and helping out where she can, with good stories, then I'm all in! I just want the best person and best stories.
Hmm... the TARDIS might be delighted, too!

And yes, I'm sure the TARDIS will be delighted too! <3

So yes, the Doctor is female this time around. One can set up the original reaction upon regeneration (as usual) and maybe a few jokes about it. After that, she travels around, perhaps the relationship with the TARDIS shifts a bit as it does, adding in the fact that it's now a couple of females traveling about, but it's not constantly discussed. The only exception might be when someone who knew the Doctor before might comment on it (like Jack; that would be hilarious!).
I think having both the TARDIS and the Doctor as females might add a bit of commonsense wisdom to the team that the Doctor has somewhat lacked in the past.

The Doctor is the Doctor. They'll always be silly and reckless. :)

Ha! You're probably right, that is part of the Doctor's core being... never looks at the TARDIS monitor before leaving the ship and finding out that they aren't where/when they think, and it's right in the middle of a disaster!

'At school, she has confessed, she didn’t have much interest in academic subjects, but was an unfailing show-off. “I was the attention-seeking child in class who needed everyone to look at meeee!'
Yeah, I don't think much common sense will be forthcoming. ;)
