It is a great and terrible world

I keep feeling like I should write something... more.

But there are no simple platitudes. Yes the London attack was terrible, but UN fears 200 died in coalition airstrike on Mosul, Brexit grinds on, Trump's healthcare reform failed (\o/ for now at least), and Red Nose Day raised £71 million...

And the sun is shining on a beautiful and somewhat crisp spring day.

I love Kim! The sense of travelling through India along the wonderful mix of people and cultures is so real you can taste it.

Wow, that's amazing...71 million pounds.

So, so happy about Drumpf and Ryan's stupid bill. I know it's not necessarily over, but so happy to get a win and have those losers be embarrassed and be known as the losers they are.

Yes, and the figure will probably rise over the next few weeks.

That's awesome!

It's reassuring that there is SOME sense in this world.

Absolutely!

We used to have Comic Relief here. Glad they're still doing it somewhere.

Thanks for the info! It looks like the US version was based off the one in the UK. They used to air their telethons on HBO hosted by Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, and Billy Crystal. It doesn't always air on TV anymore, but apparently they still operate and fundraise.
