Sherlock writer Mark Gatiss answers critic in verse
Sherlock writer and cast member Mark Gatiss has responded in verse to a critic who accused the show of turning the character into "Sherlock Bond".

Also from the article: Gatiss's response mirrors a poem Sir Arthur Conan Doyle himself wrote in 1912, entitled:

The people who complain about there being "too much action" clearly haven't read the stories in a while (if ever). They're just attached to this image of Holmes and Watson sitting in Baker Street by the fireplace.

Oh SNAP. LOL!! This is EXACTLY why I adore Gatiss.

The critic needs to brush up on his reading before laying out criticism. Holmes was detective AND action-hero for his time!
