I wish I could say O'Reilly never ceases to amaze with his blatant, ignorant prejudice and idiocy - but this was a whole new level of ignorant and backwards for him. Ye gods.

But the reponse was glorious! Ohhh, I love it when people can come together, fight for their voice and show how horrid and wrong their oppressors can be!

Also the whole thing about being stupid & not realising it, makes me think about this description of Lord Denver, brother to Lord Peter (the great detective from Dorothy Sayers' books):

It's been so long

Alas, as a non-American, and as a person who personally knows very few of them, I feel quite useless against this particular rising tide of dangerous idiocy. And I wish to believe that I do all I can as a normal, everyday person, to battle similar ones in my country (and it quite needs it, Greek here), or to at least help those who suffer the consequences -or suffer in general already for other reasons, surely you've heard.

Therefore, my one small suggestion in this case shall be the Remembrance of the Daleks Defence: Henceforth, whenever Trump goes into one of his insane rants, go, my children, and mock him mercilessly in the comments of the video.
"We shall become all-powerful! Crush the lesser races! Conquer the galaxy! UNIMAGINABLE POWER! UNLIMITED RICE PUDDING! Et cetera! Et cetera!"

Better than nothing (shrug).

OMG. That is the perfect quote. I wish they'd use that...

American politics feels like a fandom. There are all these larger than life characters, and complex background stories, daily updates - plus the fact that if the wrong guy wins, it's the end of the world. So - scary fandom.

Also I've got your other comments open in a separate tab, I will get to them. At some point.
