I listened to it on a loop, pretty much, since watching the film for the first time, and when I went to rewatch it I realised that it's basically the theme for the whole movie. It keeps coming up! :) :) :)

Rey's theme is beautiful, it's a little bit Harry Potter but is also its own thing, hopeful and gentle with a cord of steel running through it.

(My youngest had a friend sleep over last night, and they watched the new Cinderella [again]. Darcy came up after a while and grumbled about how utterly useless she is. I pointed out that she's brought up to be useless. If her father had shown her how to run the business - or made sure she learned anything practical at all - she'd not have been in such a fix when he died.)

Thanks for the theme link, I like it too. It sounds kind of Andean at the start and then like ballet, then it becomes more adventure themed and moves into big sweeping sounds -- it echoes her journey.

Agreed, they really nailed it with that skit, though it was elaborate enough to be more like a film extra.
