the_lj_herald is excellent - they check out all the LJ posts and notify members or friends of their comm about it all, with links - an excellent way to keep up with it all.

The main way that the LJ PtB are changing things in line with our feedback seems to be to say 'You don't want this? Tough, you are having it, but we will listen to what you say about how to make the thing you do not want look.' It is still a bit like 'When did you stop beating your wife.' Sigh.

But lovely news about the Cherub. Yay!

Re. the LJ PtB then it's not so much about look as about guidelines as far as I can tell. And I like the idea of different icons for sponsored stuff. Anyway I rarely venture outside my flist, so I doubt it'll have any sort of impact on me directly. *crosses fingers*
