I like that picture of the two babies with Obama and Trump even better. That says it all. As I recall from his biographies basically Trump emulated his father who largely ignored him until he was old enough to go his father's office with him. Trump outsourced his parenting to his wives and only started connecting with his kids in their teens.

One thing I will defend Hillary on is that she can be as ~*robotic*~ as she damn well likes. ''Look! She's smiling with a cute child! She's human after all SEE!!!'' just perpetuates the idea that women have to be warm and personable to be human, if you ask me.

How do you figure she's an introvert

I don't see it

>>Everyone knows how wonky she is, how she knows every bit of policy to do with anything you can name.

Well... she's a lawyer. That's what they do, lol.

I hate crowds and public speaking and I ain't no introvert.

1. Cultivated skills don't define your type.

2. Being uncomfortable / awkward in social situations doesn't make you an introvert.

Cultivated skills don't define your type.
Yes, but transferrable skills do. Yes, other types can cultivate this acute detail-orientedness to accomplish certain things, but when it's your first, instinctive way to attack pretty much everything, that's a dominant function.

It suggests a decent level of Sensing, but I'm still not seeing how it makes her an introverted Si dom.

I don't care enough about Hillary Clinton to keep arguing about it anyway.

I'm well aware of what the phrase is, I don't get why you think it's relevant apart from being deliberately aggravating.

Your argument for Si still makes no sense, so no

Owls, I have been avoiding talking to you about Clinton for months for this very reason: you insist on being a pill about it.

I'm wasn't mad about Hillary, I was mad about my friend using my other friend against me in a ''ner ner ner'' kind of way.

Elisi always thought she was an introvert for unfathomable Ni reasons. In my head she was an ENTJ, and then an ESTJ, figuring she had too much 'just do it!' drive to be an introvert. And then one day I compared her to Martha Stewart (copied and pasted from an email):

I was re-thinking my typing of Clinton the other day, btw, by comparing her to Martha Stewart. I think Clinton is an ISTJ after all. Martha, who is definitely an ESTJ, for all her icy, perfect, corporate queen of dominance thing, she knows how to work with Ne (did you hear that she and Snoop Dog are going to have a cooking show together? The Atlantic had to write an article about why she's awesome. Also, if you're ever having a bad day, search for Martha Stewart and Conan O'Brien. Actually, no, the world is a scary place right now, just watch this immediately. Trust.) But you never really see Martha Stewart touch anything Fi-related.

Clinton, conversely, had always been reserved, but has really been able to turn on the Fi-appeals this election cycle. She's got that classic, awkward, inferior-Ne reaction to whimsey, though. And, like many an ISJ, she makes a great subject of a Ne joke--you know that all the best memes around her were created by other people, and that she's kind of the bemused onlooker. So, yeah, ISTJ.

The upshot of all of this, of course, is that the Clinton campaign should hire Martha Stewart as a personal image consultant for Hillary.

Counterpoint: her fuck-clump of a husband is an ESFP and I'm pretty sure the only thing that can keep those on a leash are ENTJs.

I generally see Bill typed as an ENFP. I hadn't thought about it deeply, but how do you figure S?

ETA: forgot to lol @ 'fuck-clump.'

- Extremely punchable face
- Overall slippery car salesman vibe
- Third Way politics is basically what happens when you give a soppy liberal a conservative S-ish work ethic
- They based Peter Florrick on him for a reason

I'd say that's pretty much QED, though.

I know I've said this before, but my mother, poor thing, was so out-gunned surrounded with three INTPs and an ESTP. When she's tired you can tell sometimes she gets fed up with it, but mostly she gets kind of carried along, laughing and shaking her head.

The ESJs you can catch flat-footed or in a bad mood sometimes, but generally they'll fire back.

Little Miss Flint met both Trump and Obama this year...

Yes, she certainly did...

Little Miss Flint looks like she wants to run away in that Trump photo.

Awww! You can tell Obama's a dad, kids feel at ease with him. I remember once when he was doing a meet and greet, there was a crying baby and he took the baby and joggled it round and the baby stopped crying and stared at him.

I've not seen these images actually. I was sorting chuckling over the image of that poor girl clearly looking frightened of that orange clown (don't people realize that children find clowns terrifying?) And then you had to post that gif and my cold heart just melted.

I can't believe the difference between the two men and that we may actually go from one to the other as POTUS.

Wow...Miss Flint looked terrified with the Great Orange One. O_o Poor dear...

Love these! Thank you!

I've seen the Little Miss Flint one before but it still makes me laugh and feel bad for that kid with that gargoyle looming over her. Any sane person would make that face.

That's really a lovely pic of Hillary. And the difference of Little Miss Flint's expression with Obama and Trump is classic.
