I knew it was bad, but this article has statistics that shocked me:
The UN estimates 95% of all aggressive and denigrating behaviour in online spaces is aimed at women.
The Thing All Women Do That You Don’t Know About ('All' women does not of course mean every woman.)

Poo : ( I hate distribution agreements. It's like people don't want you to watch their shows.
I've seen the beginning of the first Capt America movie, where she is AWESOME. :)
I have a great vid but, alas, spoilers . . .
Well, just because TV isn't terrible doesn't mean movies can't try that little bit harder.
My point being that studios understand two things: money and attention. If you don't like what someone is doing, vote accordingly!
ETA: Doctor Who on in 1 hour!!
It is possible my expectations are slightly too high for this episode. But boy do I hope not.
(Not sure if I can watch live, as we have a visitor. We'll see.)
