Are Pot Noodles specially disgusting or something? I first learned they were a joke/object of derision from Red Dwarf, and I heard David Tennant similarly kind of make faces in an old Nerdist podcast I was listening to the other day. American instant ramen brands like Nissin Cup Noodle and similar things for rice noodles are not exactly gourmet in taste or texture (although you can find such things - Annie Chun's is a rather upscale brand with a price to match), but they're, well, fine, you know *shrug* So what's the deal with Pot Noodle particularly?
