Help plz? It'll be a laugh. (Seriously. Presuming you like dark comedy.)

Like I explained in my recent post, Darcy finished an MA in film making last year. One of his MA films, Border Patrol, has been entered into the Viewster Online Film Fest. Follow the link below view the films, and vote (the more 5 start ratings for Border Patrol the better!). If you're on facebook you don't even need to log in. If you're not (like me) YOU CAN STILL VOTE! Creating a log-in literally takes seconds - just click on the 'Vote' button and follow the instructions. :)

Border Patrol - Summary:

Carl, a young eager German border cop, is anxious to finish work so he can watch the big football match against Austria. Getting annoyed with his partner, Franz (who’s nearing retirement and likes to take his time), his plans are thwarted by the discovery of a suicide victim in the woods just near the Austrian border. The wily Franz realises this is an opportunity for a bit of fun with his younger colleague, and sets about instructing him in making the body the Austrians’ problem.

Today is THE LAST DAY FOR VOTING (oh god, this week has been so busy! /o\) so please follow the link as soon as possible. I promise, the film is *excellent*! (Yes, I'm biased, but that doesn't mean I'm not right.)

And please pass it on?

Dark humor is the best humor. I voted and good luck!

Verdammt! I loved it and voted. It's just perfect: the actor's faces -the cyclist-, the classical image, the setting, the silent reactions. I loved the pacing so much and the finale twist was just ace.
(Also the woods look just like here. It makes it funnier.)

I hope it will be a success!

LOL! I went, I watched, I voted. Very clever and I laughed out loud at the final scene. Best of luck to all involved with it.

High five Darcy for an original plot. I've been taking student film classes the past two semesters, and I've learned to hate tropes I used to love because they've been executed so shabbily.

Damn the time difference, I could only do it after work and it seems it's past midnight there... I liked it on Facebook but couldn't get the rating to work.
That was nicely done short, with dark humour and as a football fan I got an extra kick out of it. Liked both main character guys, and the camera work.
