Two things.

Boulder smashes through Italian farm. My main response to seeing the pictures: Holy crap!

And from Andrew Sullivan:

DAMN...O_o

And I doubt it...Disney is 'religious' (according to Eisner and friends - they are 'christian-based') and bigoted, alas. Though I will say they are slowly coming around. I think though, that someone else will do it first (like Bluth or PIXAR).

Eisner isn't in charge of Disney anymore…

There is a gay character in Frozen, albiet a bit part: http://www.policymic.com/articles/79455/7-moments-that-made-frozen-the-most-progressive-disney-movie-ever (spoilers, obviously).

But I do agree it'll be slow going before it'll be the leads.

I did see a comment I couldn't answer that reminded me that Eisner no longer runs Disney (though some of his policies have remained) - but I agree that Pixar will likely go there first. Nowadays they lead the way...

Yes, that comment appeared in my inbox, but has now vanished... Ah well, let's see what Pixar comes up with. I'm sure ONE DAY there'll be a lesbian Disney princess. Even if we have to wait 100 years. ;)

That thing with the boulder on the Italian farm is crazy-scary! Those people were so lucky their house wasn't flattened!
