Update.

Just a little update... Thank you to everyone who sent birthday wishes (by snail mail, or electronically) as well as all the lovely wishes on my flist and in comments & messages. ♥ ♥ ♥

I had a very nice birthday, going out for lunch with younger s-i-l (who shares my birthday) and then I had a lovely evening at home, with an evening meal courtesy of Sainsbury's and watching Iron Man 3, which was thoroughly enjoyable. I also (finally) am curious to see Avengers thanks to the fact that whatever happened gives Tony Stark panic attacks. :) (Why yes, I rather loved it. As in, all of it.)

And here is a list of what I posted, if anyone missed it/wants to catch up (I never stop hoping...). The Who fics about 1000 words each. The AtS one regular chapter length. The icons are, well, icons:

When Amy Met the Master.

Divided Destiny. Chapter 6.

Five Ways Jack Didn't Meet the Doctor's Wife. Part 1: It’s Called Marriage.

37 icons.

Enjoy! <3 Worked late tonight, so am rather sleepy now...

*waves* Here's the girl who'll be catching up in oh, ten days! :D (But keyword is WILL!)
Great to hear you had a good birthday, dear! ♥

Aw, sorry the ending wouldn't work right. Still, that's quite a bit of publishing done! :)

Eeeeeee, I'd just LOVE to see that! Time Lord sex interpretations are fascinating :D
Ah, First Night… That's something I'm stubbornly blocking from my headcanon ;P
Good luck with it in the future! ♥

Also... difficult. I HATE writing sex scenes, so I've not made it very explicit. (grrr. Stupid sex scenes.)
Not explicit is also great! *hugs*

Oh I ADORE First Night. (If the writers are going to write fic for us I'm not going to complain!)
It's not that I don't like it, but it jostles my headcanon—besides, I always prefer older!River ;)
Writers!fic… *thinks of Rain Gods and dies a little*

Quite welcome! ;)

Well good luck twice! XD
So seconding this… ;)

*Grins* I know Epic when I see it coming...

And I'll have some time soon. I will always happily take time to read your fic, sweetie.

Adoring the color version...mmm...MATT.

Glad you had a great birthday! I enjoyed both "Iron Man 3" and "The Avengers" a lot.

I've actually been enjoying Agents of SHIELD, and thus have a desire to watch the Marvel movies. Haven't gotten particularly far, though. Timed out in the middle of Iron Man 2 :-\

Iron Man 2 is pretty pants, so don't worry.
Oh good. I liked the first one well enough, despite it's movie-ness. Am basically trying to trick myself that a bunch of movies are just a big tv season so as to get through them. It's only partly working.

mostly I remember his shield and that the girls called his team 'the boomerang squad' because he would throw the shield... I think you just need to get out some popcorn & enjoy
*snorfle* I can't say I'm really looking forward to that one . . .

(Mind you, most people on my flist are bored to death by Marvel's Agents of Shield, so clearly you're an outlier. *g*)
Well, I've got two things going for me: I don't expect to like Joss, so if all I get out of it is a good yell at the tv, I'm coming out ahead. And then I'm still a refugee from an era when first seasons were supposed to suck and everybody knew not to expect too much from them. But it's been fun. I like it more than Sleepy Hollow, which everybody else in on about and I'm just not enjoying as much as I feel I should.
