SQUEE!!!!!

Firstly I need to wish the HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS to the ever lovely scarlettgirl (who now has the answers to life, the universe and everything!)

But then I need to do a lot of squeeing I'm afraid... you see while most of you went to WriterCon and met *everyone* pretty much - *I* am going to have the_royal_anna coming to visit me tomorrow!!!!!! *does the Numfar Dance of Joy*

I'm going round grinning like the BuffyBot at the moment, because OMG ANNA! For those of you who don't know, Anna was my first contact with fandom proper and she was quite simply the loveliest guide you could imagine. When I started to look for things Buffy, first of all I found reviews (which were wonderful, but tended to be more of a reaction type thing). Then came fanfic, which I adored, but after sending feedback to a BNF (that shall remain unnamed) and never getting a response I got a bit disheartened. Then I found Anna's LJ! And on Anna's LJ were posts and essays, analysing and discussing and generally turning everything inside out and I *loved* it! She finally managed to put into words *why* I loved the show so much. :) And then one day when I finally plucked up the courage to write her an e-mail, she replied the same day being more than friendliness itself. :)

So now I am a bouncy bundle of excitement! Which also means that I must go again, since the office/guestroom doesn't actually have enough *space* for a guest yet... anyone know how to magic the mess away?
