Let's hope Moffat will renew his writing team! I think it's partly to do with the fact that there are very, very few women working in sci-fi. And for Doctor Who they need not just good, experienced sci-fi/fantasy writers, but ones that know the history & continuity. So it's not a big pool to choose from. Sadly. But here's to hope indeed! :)
