The Original Character Interview Meme

Snagged from my flist. Interview with Alex, just turned 21, at more or less the current point in Dating. (Some of the answers would change depending on when he was in this story/his life, so this is a very specific snapshot. Mind you, he wasn't impressed with the questions, so if you want to ask him anything, go ahead!)

1. Care to introduce yourself?

I’m the Seeker, the last Time Lord. Well - the youngest. Of four. Also known as Alexander Saxon, or 'Alex' for short. Too much of my father’s son for my own liking, but not evil or insane. Also smarter. And more sensible. (Well I'm more sensible than the other three put together. Whether that is nature or nurture I'm still trying to work out.)

2. Job or Occupation?

Currently - student. Generally - I want to know everything. And I like building and creating things.

3. If you had a vacation, what it'll be?

I’m planning something for my girlfriend. So it’ll have to be a secret for now.

4. If you traveled in time, what history would you change?

I do travel in time, and I don’t change history.

5. Look! A mecha that looks kinda like you! *points to the mecha*

Fascinating. I wonder who made it... Probably my future self, if I had to hazard a guess.

6. What are you going to do with it?

Take it apart, find out how it works and whether I made it myself and why. Then I’d store it away in case I ever needed it.

7. Fwoosh! *throws the character's favorite food on their face*

I’m never inviting you round for dinner.

8. What's your favorite music genre?

Depends which era I’m in. Not Wagner.

9. What is your favorite mythical creature?

When I was little I wanted to create a pegasus.

10. What's your favorite musical instrument?

Don’t really have one. I can play just about anything, but I’m not a musician. Ask me again when I'm older and have developed more of a personal taste.

11. What's your favorite weather?

Not too bothered by weather. But something that’s not wet and cold.

12. Do you believe in... Santa Claus?

No, but I find the concept intriguing.

13. Look at the person on this mirror! *pulls in a mirror, which shows the Opposite Version of the character* This, is the anti version of yourself, from another universe!

I always wondered... *tilts head* Dad must love you.

14. Have a cake! *cakes the character with a big cake that contains the character's favorite flavor*

Seriously. Never having you round for dinner. Blathereen have better table manners.

15. What's the worst and humiliating thing that happened to you?

I’m not going to answer that.

16. If you had a pet, what it's gonna be?

I’ve got a small pterosaur. It’s called Princess Leia.

17. What's your favorite song?

Right now... I’m not sure it’s my favourite, but the song that I identify with at the moment is called ‘The Boy With Two Hearts’ by the group The Boy Least Likely To. (A bit retro, I suppose.) Funnily enough not for the hearts thing (although that’s very serendipitous) but more for the overall sentiment. (Lyrics here.)

18. Who's your favorite artist?

Not sure. Haven’t met a lot yet. Or did you mean whose work I like?

19. What will you do if you found a treasure chest containing treasure?

If possible trace the rightful owner and return it. Otherwise probably give it to my girlfriend.

20. What creature have you always wanted to be?

A cat!

21. Here's another mirror! *pulls in another mirror, which shows the Steampunk Version of the character* This is the steampunk version of yourself, from a universe of the age of steam!

Too much hero coat. And you seem to misunderstand... Oh nevermind.

22. Do you believe in someone or something?

Not really. This is probably a flaw.

23. Want me to end this meme now?

But we just started. And you’ve not asked me any really interesting questions yet...

24. Ya sure?

Now that’s just a nonsequiteur. Do people normally say yes?

25. Then tag someone before you leave... via cannon!!! *shows a fancy cannon aiming to an open window, which leads to a large, comfy mattress*

Redjay, I hope you will oblige. But I won’t use the cannon, unless you want to try it? (I've been fired out of a cannon when I was in the circus, that was fun) See? You never even asked about that! Does anyone else have any questions?

I did not intend to mock you. I was merely making an observation. My sincerest apologies. I am neither Prydonian nor a Time Lord. I did not attend Academy either.

My Time Lady spent time as a "puppet" of the High Council. It is not a pleasant way to live.

%. - I understand you have a viable replica of Gallifrey that you have created. Have you had any issues recreating the biological life forms?

[identity profile] adamtardis.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Maggie suggests that I am rubbish with questions. And, instead suggests 'fun' ones..... She thinks that I Adam taking everything too seriously. And, since she's having a great day, I'll oblige.

~ What is your favorite human food?

[identity profile] adamtardis.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
This Maggie is a peach and sweet tea lady. *chuckles* I usually take grief from eating salt and electrolytes. I'm coral. What else would you expect?

7 - Do you have a favorite holiday?

[identity profile] adamtardis.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Maggie would kick me if I don't ask ... but have you ever been to Atlanta? Maggie went to medical school in the 1930's there. I forgot ... we do agree on one food item .... Coca Cola. Sugar and phosphoric acid ...

8 - do you have any favorite family traditions? Maggie's big on birthday cake and ice cream. :)

[identity profile] adamtardis.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Maggie demanded a purple tree one year. I found one for her. I can never deny her anything.

9 - Do you have a favorite course of study? I understand that you enjoy knowledge.

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Maggie prefers medicine. I prefer straight mathematics. Numbers are comforting. Well, my equivalent of numbers. But, since we're using English, we have to live with the limitations.

8- have you had the opportunity to study languages? Have you found one that is. Expressive as Gallifreyian ?

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Don't mention River around Maggie. She finds the concept ofher annoying. She's very possessive of the Doctor.

9 - If given the possibility to study Academy material, would you REALLY give your right arm? Or, would you settle for the best link I can establish?

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 09:16 pm (UTC)(link)
No. I don't need your right arm. But, I thought I'd see if it was an option still. You did mention it earlier. I may request a blood sample data file later. I would like to compare it with Maggie's. I have not been able to get a good handle on the recreation of the Master. The question being his genetic origin ....

Please don't regenerate early, if you can avoid it. I have observed great disruptions to personality. Although, try not to drag it out too long. Same problems occur. Maggie was almost 1000. But, she struggled to that age based on a vision from much younger.

10 - Do you have visions of future lines? If so, how far do you believe you should go to prevent that future?

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-10 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
I have extensive data on Time Lord DNA. The triple helix makes for fascinating study. Technically, I'm a multi dimensional being with all creation at my fingertips. But, I still enjoy the creation of my own knowledge. There is such variety in life. Why depend on others?

My recommendations on regeneration are based on empirical observation. It is a 'crap shoot' at best ( to use Maggie's favorite expression). It's a hard way to obtain practical immortality.

Then the visions are definitely from her mother's genetics. There is a lot of Pythian blood there. We attempt to control those visions. But, they are intense and frequently fixed in time.

11 - Assuming limited contact with 'speaking' tardis', do you have any questions about me? I'm unique to my experience but I am not entirely different from any of my sisters.

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-11 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I blame the male presentation on my Time Lady. But, in all reality, we are genderless and are only considered female based on our asexual reproduction. Gender is such a limiting concept any way. :)
It has also been more acceptable and safer in our travels for her to have a male companion.

I will wait until you answer my question about the bio data extract

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-11 04:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, are you familiar with bio data extracts? Maggie has requested that I unarchive a room.

[identity profile] maggietimelord.livejournal.com 2013-08-11 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Bio data extracts are the biological records from the Matrix. Each Time Lord has one. Well, had one. I have Maggie's recording and maintain it. But, I also have some animals, etc archived.

With a Time Lord, it is also a record of memories and experiences.
