SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Today is a day of squeeeeeeeeee!
Just found out that a RL friend is a fellow Buffy fan! ::ginormous grin::
We were walking home after taking children to school, talking about movies, and she confessed to having all three Matrix films (“It’s a set - I have to have all of them if it’s a set!” Perfect reasoning.) Then she continued with:
“I also have ‘Blade’ - all 3 of them. He’s a vampire hunter....”
Me: “Oh I like Buffy, you don’t have to explain.”
Her: “I like Buffy too!” [conspiratorial look] “But we don’t tell anyone that...”
She even got cable just so she could watch it (and AtS of course) on Sky One when they were first showing. And keeps being pulled in by the re-runs...
I feel like doing somersaults or something, I'm so bouncy! She's not got the DVDs ("I'm not that bad..." she said, when I confessed to having all of them, except S3 and 4. *g*), and she's not aware of fandom, but give it time... Mwahahahahaha!
Told her she absolutely had to come round sometime - we could watch Buffy and be sad together. She found this a very good idea. :)
I *have* to go now (so much work to get done) and my internet is beinga bit very wonky (ETA: grumble, grumble, grumble... I wrote this post at 9.30 am! If I ever mange to post it don't expect replies anytime soon.), but... OMG RL Buffy fan friend! ::does the Numfar dance of Joy::
