Drabble!

Wrote another drabble for kallysten's growing 'collection'! She made such a lovely challenge, that this just wrote itself:



Angel and Spike enter the conference room, but an additional person is waiting. She turns and gasps: “Spike?”

“Buffy...”

She slaps him so hard that he nearly looses his footing.

“What are you doing here? You came back to life and you couldn’t be bothered to even call?”

Angel grins in the background.

“Buffy, please...”

“I’ve missed you so much! And sex is so unbelievably boring with ordinary guys. When we’ve found this rogue slayer you’re coming back to Rome with me! Understood!”

Spike nods. Angel reels in horror.

Then she whispers: “Bought some handcuffs the other day...”

Angel faints.

That's one of the reasons I like the Spuffy. Angel seems to treat her like she belongs on a shelf only to be taken off when he's human for a day or to kiss him before he volunteers to be the hero.

Oh, me too! Buffy and Spike do not put each other on pedestals (beautifully illustrated in this post by awmp). And the fact that they see each other clearly is why I think they'd be able to have a happy ending!
