I can't believe that I'm only getting round to pimping this now - why can't I afford a cleaning lady?

Anyway, mbangel10 is very kindly providing links to Arbitrar Of Quality's reviews of the Buffyverse. He has only just started on Season 2 (wasn't all that impressed with S1, but usually managed to find something worthwhile, even in the worst episodes!).

He really liked eps like 'The Pack' and 'Prophecy Girl', and is obviously a perceptive guy - from 'Prophecy Girl': The sequence [Xander fetching Angel to get him to help] makes one wonder what it says about Angel, that he was willing to sit around until someone came along to coax him into helping.
Heeeeee!! ::loves Angel::

He's just finished 'When She Was Bad' and has this to say re. baddies: BTVS has been one of those shows where the heroes are invariably more interesting than the villains anyway.
Which just makes me squee, because he is only one ep. away from Spike and Dru. Not to mention Angelus...

So, if first-time viewers' reviews are your crack (like they are mine), do check him out. Oh and he is COMPLETELY UNSPOILED! So enjoy. :)

I've been reading AOQ's reviews for a while now, and I had the exact same reaction as you when I read his latest review. I wonder what his reaction to Spike will be? Very interesting reviews so far. :)

I was thinking about this earlier, and I realised that I tend to think of the start of Buffy 'proper' as 'School Hard'. I hope there will be squeeing! :)

How exciting to be able to find in this day and age a vigin to the Buffyverse! It certainly would be interesting to read his reviews, just to see how a newbie interprets the same episodes we've all viewed and discussed infinitum. :)

I've been reading his reviews too. They're very interesting. As soon as he started complaining about The Master and the other season one villains, I had a feeling he would probably love Spike and Dru. I can't wait to see how he reacts to them.

And no he hasn't seen AtS - he knows of it though, and has wondered now and again in his S1 reviews how come *Angel* goes on to get a show of his own, since he only seems to have 2 facial expressions... heee!
