Much as I hate the word 'funusual'...

This is a very good gift idea. The best thing I've ever seen for 'those who have everything' - and you help people too. :)

I'm here btw, just very busy and when I *do* have time I try to write! Also I'm loving [livejournal.com profile] buffyversetop5, it's like a wonderful treasuretrove.

The 'funusual' gifts.

We gave goats, chickens, computer lessons and so on to some of the family and friends last year - this year my sister's family are getting a latrine in Africa!

That's a lovely idea. And thanks for the support!

Oh, that's a wonderful idea! Thanks for the link. (Though I do agree on the horrors of "funusual.")

That is a very neat idea! I think I'd go for the camel.

Thank you :)
I agree that this gift is a brilliant idea. I believe even lastminute.com are selling charity gifts like this. I just hope it's not a passing fashion and they continue for many years to come.

Yes I did. I've got written comments; I just have to get them on the computer. I was hoping to do that tonight but spent most of the night formatting a Word doc for my mum ::sigh::

Facepalms? ::meeps:: Well, I just sent it in any case ::hugs::
PS. That's a gorgeous icon!
It is, isn't it? It's one of the one [livejournal.com profile] lmbossy made which she just posted at her LJ. I *adore* them :)
