elisi: Edwin and Charles (Time(Lords) can be rewritten by kathyh)

I've got a theory that the Master's feelings about regeneration are more typical for Time Lords than the Doctor's.
Oh yes. Look at the General. Gets shot, regenerates, gets back up again & carries on. No fuss.

Time Lords can recognize each other despite a change of a body (I can't remember if Moffat had changed that with Twelve and Missy)
Nope, totally business as usual w/Twelve & Missy. Twelve just changes the pronouns he uses, that's literally it. :)

Tenth was of course the most concerned about it, which makes sense, since he was the most human of the Doctors and he felt his personality, emotions and even physical appearance define him as well.
Good point.

I love when someone compares them. I'm currently rewatching season 5 with this angle. "What would the Tenth do? Is it Tenth's behaviour, or is it different?" It's fascinating.
I even have an icon. :)

I have. I still don't know what to think about the Doctor's behaviour. He crossed the line and got away with it too easily for me to accept it.
Well, he lost a good chunk of his memory/got Donna'd. I'd say a part of him literally died. And it's a line he's crossed before... Anyway, I'm writing up my Hell Bent thoughts (such as they are), so will leave that for a separate entry!

But I meant the companion shouldn't do something like that on purpose, with cold blood.
Oh I see! Of course not, no.
