Trust me to post meta when LJ decides to perform maintenance. Ah well, it'll still be there tomorrow I suppose... ETA: It's Merlin meta (MY FIRST! And possibly my last), and it's there, you just can't see it [yet].

Here's to hoping that LJ is back to normal when I wake up!

I tried watching Merlin, got about six episodes in before I couldn't stand it anymore

Mind you, I've watched the first 6 episodes of S1, and S5. Will probably go back to watch the rest, but I can understand you giving up...

Anyways, ask Promethia - I (somehow) managed to get her to watch the whole thing! (And she DIDN'T HATE IT! *g*)

I think low expectations are crucial. I wanted something to hate watch and ended up being ambushed by its being any good at all.

But the symbolism is yummy and everything is in the process of blowing up around everybody, which is always satisfying.
