I've just sent the final draft of the last chapter to my beta.
I... don't know how to feel.
(ETA: Index post here in case there's anyone out there who doesn't know what I'm talking about.)
ETA2: Just happened to look back through old entries and found the WIP meme, wherein I moaned about this chapter and posted the first line. And indeed that line has gone. Plus the chapter has had SO MUCH work done to it that it's barely recognisable. And it's taken 5 months... /o\

ETA: Mind you, one reason for my determination in getting this thing DONE is that the Seeker has decided to hold my brain hostage and I NEED to get back to that 'verse. So I'll finish My Immortal (because everyone's been waiting for waaaaaaaay too long) and I'll write up the epilogue of the Martha fic (which ought to be easy, I've got it all planned out), and then I'll dive right back into 'Dating'... and all the rest. That fic is LONG. And then there's the Seeker's version of JE (set after that 'Who I Am' piece - so very much a 'future' fic) and then there's one where he [spoiler] and THEN there's the story which is what's grabbed me so, which is the story of how he finally finds what he's been seeking. :) *looks at list* It's gonna take me YEARS to write I suspect...

And don't mind early morning rambling; I'm doing the same thing. I'm skipping church this am and feeling slightly guilty, even though I have a good reason- allergic reaction to I think medication.

SO MUCH STORY!!!! The next chapter is all about her family (and I'm sooooo looking forward to it - OCs are dangerous). ETA: I'm even listening to Alex and Allison's song. Well the song that I always associated with the relationship, and which will turn up in the story eventually. Oh I have it BAAAAAD. /o\)
