I'm so proud of him!

I KNOW!! I'm already in love with this guy after doing a paper on the 2008 elections and seeing how amazingly well he comported himself, then this happens! I'm only worried this will hurt him in the general election, but I love that he's doing right instead of what's politically savvy.

unless the country as a whole decides it's going completely mad, I think he'll be OK. :)

You're a lot more optomistic than I am. I fear that will just be one more reason for people not to vote for him. You read things like this and realize that no matter how awful Romney is, he might be the next guy in the White House "shudders".

The country as a whole voted in Bush twice (well, once and a half) so I never assume that our electorate is completely sane. *g*

The people this would upset are people who wouldn't vote for him anyway.

*Cue Fox News (ultra Conservative) website 'Fox Nation', having this kind of headline: "OBAMA FLIP-FLOPS, DECLARES WAR ON MARRIAGE" in response.

There is not enough facepalm in the world. And my inner-psychology geek is wondering if there could be an actual mental-thing going on besides thinking that a lot of the bigger Conservatives have a kind of obsessive love for conspiracies, and that obsession becomes even bigger if that conspiracy has something to do with Obama.

Blah- I'm just going to go to back to the reliable conclusion of "there's something in the water."

Thanks for the link, I'll have to bookmark for when I'm not having to concentrate on projects. :D

You don't have to be crazy to live in this country, but it sure as hell helps.

I was listening to the news on NPR on the way home from work just now, and while Obama did win the state's democratic primary, this guy actually won 10 counties, and came in a strong second with 41% of the vote. that's right, a prison inmate. With a horrible mullet.

I weep for the future!
