Because I live in the south feel as if I should defend grits as not inherently evil, but I'm actually from New Jersey and I've tasted them.

I don't think they're evil... They're just one of those weird all-American things that (like the Master) I didn't know what actually was.

Porage made of ground hominy- sort of bleached corn. It's sticky lumpy paste that "real" southerns eat with butter and salt. I'm pretty sure it is proof of evilness. [Not that you need it in Mitt's case.]
