The guys who write about comic books on the internet because people don't get all the themes. 242 kinds of whatever-it-was doesn't pay the bills; people want to know if he's human. It's "time to bring in" Irene. The fail--it was much.

Wasn't it wonderful? I had a racing pulse - due to various reasons, not least of which is Benedict Cumberbatch's...oh everything! It was so very, very good. I recognised the original storyline too, which made me happy. Can't wait for the next one!
I've not read any of the original stories, and now I don't want to, for fear of being spoiled... Which perfectly demonstrates the investment I've now got in this show! :)

BTW - the show kind of is worth getting fannish about as there is some seriously quality fic lying around, waiting to be read for those who are interested. :)
Oh I know the fic's out there... I've read a few pieces here and there, and the quality is brilliant. But I've not really got the time, plus I'm happy with what we have onscreen... it doesn't push those buttons for me. (Which is good. Time is not my friend, as I said.)
I am so very jealous. Frakking lag time between airing there and airing here. Oh well, at least it's airing on PBS so I can see it.
Before you say it, I know there are ways of obtaining it, but for some reason, I fail at them. I can stream anime from here to the moon, but I try torrent other things and my computer spazzes. So I'll wait until May and go watch it with my Mum on their big honking TV like we watched last season.
Holy CRAP it was excellent. Every shot was like an oil painting. Visually stunning, perfectly written, characterization flail-worthy. Steven Moffat I accept you as my personal deity.
I agree it was fantastic; gorgeously conceived, written, acted and filmed -- but one thing puzzled me: when Sherlock misidentified the body in the morgue, did he make an honest mistake, or was it purposefully done, do you think?
I am so hoping they just found some lady who happened to be dead, who was the right size. Like the airplane people. I guess I have a certain level of creepy that I prefer to stay on the right side of...
