Mmmmm OTP.

First of all, look at this gorgeous icon [livejournal.com profile] kathyh made for me! ♥ (Very sharable, just credit Kathy.)

Also, did you know that there's going to be a GAME? Like so:

Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will immerse gamers in the universe of Doctor Who, allowing them to take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they travel across time and space to save the Earth. Gamers must learn to master the complexities of time travel with exceptional time based game play, changes made in one time will impact another creating multiple possibilities and challenging players to solve puzzles across the centuries.

My OTP has a GAME! I can't even. *hands*

Anyway, I started this post with the intention of pimping the River/Doctor Fan Awards:

River/Doctor

LOTS of good stuff. LOTS AND LOTS. Voting is going to be difficult. (And I notice, with amusement, that my stories are up against each other. In the hurt/comfort category. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME? *laughs*)

Oh and 'No One Knows' is like the PERFECT song for LKH. (Seriously, look at these lyrics: Oh, what you do to me/No one knows/And I realize you're mine/Indeed a fool am I [...] Heaven smiles above me/What a gift here below/But no one knows)

1. Can't wait for that game.
2. All my votes are in. And good luck!
3. It is a good song, but I still agree with you about 'The World is Not Enough' which is the best Doctor Who video IMHO.
4. Very nice icon. She always makes you good ones.

The description for that game actually sounds really good! I was expecting something cheap and tacky, and I'll be reading reviews to make sure it's not. But I'm a lot more excited about a game based on a tv show than I ever thought I'd be. XD

"Ceremonial" ended up in the "Angst" category. I suppose I've no one to blame but myself, but that doesn't stop me from feeling a bit strange.

Yeah, Cinderbella had some that really didn't place well either. Genre is tricky :-\

I'm pretty sure I know what happened to Cerimonial. See, I put it in "Best Overall" . . . Not because I expected it to win that kind of category but it really really didn't fit any of the genre categories and because . . . that's how I'd like people to read it? Like, if I could make everybody read just one of my fics, it would be that one. But something tells me nobody else was willing to be that arrogant and they axed the category. "Angst" was my back-up category, but that was just the least ill-filling of all the ill-fitting options.

Oh well. I mostly just want people to read it, so hopefully people are still willing to read by the time they get down to Angst . . .
