Have you heard about this yet? It's both ridiculously hilarious and utterly depressing. Oh, America, why. Mitt Romney, the only serious candidate we Republicans have (since I refuse to consider Newt Gingrich), has refused to attend.

I hadn't, no. And Republicans are a strange, strange thing... I mean, Obama is to the right of our Conservatives, so most Republicans (even the 'moderate' ones) come across as... deeply peculiar (or, in cases like Sarah Palin, hilarious & terrifying in equal measures).
