Someone in calapine's review (here, also excellent) posted a link, which I followed, and then I spent a good chunk of my morning reading through all the reviews and nodding along as I went.

Despite being HUGELY impressed with CoE (although it broke my heart into teeny tiny pieces), I never expected MD to be as good (I know Rusty, and have no illusions - I mean, I'm someone who *enjoyed* End of Time, so I'm easy to please), but I did presume that we'd get a good story - not unbelievable levels of dullness and stupid.

Anyway, thanks for your reviews. I never had the energy to *write* anything much about MD...
