What if that's what created the Flesh in the first place and is what he's gone back to fix somehow?
Hmmm. I definitely agree that he's trying to fix some piece of history or other (whether a fixed point or not remains to be seen), but throwing something specifically Timelord-y into the mix could be an interesting twist.
