That said, is Moffat over using the creepy child voice as a literary device? I have a feeling that we'll all think that it's a repeat of what he's done before, and then it'll turn out to be something completely different. But I could be wrong. It's certainly a good effect.

Yes! I wasn't creeped out at first… and then I rewatched it three more times. Those few seconds of silence on the telephone are what really get me. It's the not knowing that's the problem. Is it a child? Is it something else with the voice of a child...
