The lovefest continued through the night, and - since I had to look through all the pages - I shall point towards these two comments which both celebrate BOTH shows/characters.

Now unless the Who fandom find FOUR HUNDRED new votes within the next few hours, Troy will definitely win. But not only do I think it's well deserved (I voted Troy throughout - until the finale - thanks to the campaigning), but I also think it's the result the Doctor himself would want. As one commenter pointed out, Troy is exactly the kind of person the Doctor fights for. And he'd totally cheer for 'the underdog'.

Those graphics are amazing, aren't they? And thanks for reccing my little post! I voted against Eleven for Buffy and Veronica, as per my "vote for the lady" mantra, but it physically hurt to do so because I have such affection for him. I couldn't be happier with the final two, however, and I'm so glad to see both Troy and Eleven make it so far - Community is such a low-rated show, and I thought Doctor Who was primarily a British fandom that it's a pleasant surprise to see them where they are now. Go team final two!

Thanks for keeping me up to date on the contest with your posts. It boggles my mind that Community can be at risk of not being renewed -- it is a comedy made for fandom, not just because Troy and Abed are total fanboys, but because the episodes themselves so often go outside the box.
