Maybe it took me so long to get Peter Davison for the very reason I now look back on him so fondly, because he seemed to have this way of needing to teach you something, and Adric, who every fan I talked to seemed to hate, was always so smart he needed to be taught what do with that; why I seem to remember them always fighting. Hmmm. I don't think I've ever heard them described like that before, but it makes sense. And I like 'schoolmasterly'!
It's Matt Smith's air of of overconfidetn incompetence that appeals to me so much; kinda like an old school mad professor *nods a lot* Plus, Sir Patrick Moore is a good friend. ;)
