River Love. (Many spoilers if you follow the links.)
Remember that Your Friends Are Not Watching the Same Show You Are (And That's Okay)? An excerpt:
In new school Doctor Who fandom, fans are often watching very different shows. Some are watching the "Rose Tyler Show," and are vexed at the continued absence of the lead. Others tuned in late to enjoy the "Martha Jones Show," and were surprised but pleased when their show took over Torchwood for a while. While no one yet seems to be watching the "Donna Noble Show," Dr. Merlin has already observed a large shift among her friends to enjoying the "Ten and Donna Are the New Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant But Could Also Totally Be Karen and Jack From Will and Grace Show," which one can only imagine is hard to fit on the title cards. Still other Who fans have been in the fandom long enough that they're just along for the ride (or else they're still watching the original "Sarah Jane Adventures" and wondering where Harry went).
I think I am currently watching a combination of the "Eleventy is The Most Delightful Doctor Ever Show", the "Amy/Rory are Adorable Show" and the "River Song is Made of Awesome Show". It's the last one I'm currently flailing over, partly because of rediscovering Fuck Yeah! River Song on Tumblr, which (amongst endless pretties) had this fabulous drawing:
(I absolutely love the idea of River as the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia!)
Also, my favourite River vids right now are these two, both of which could have 'River Song is Made of Awesome' as their summary:

*beams* They are awesome shows, aren't they? (Really I should combine them all, but I think the title would be way, way too long. Plus there should be something about Doctor/River in there, but I figure what with them being so awesome that's kinda implied. Plus, they're not one of those couples that's awesome because they're a couple - even if they never met, they'd still be fantastic on their own!)

And I do believe I am watching the same shows as you, as well as the "Everything is Fodder for My English Major Brain Show" and the "I Can't Stop Watching Eleven's Hands Show." All are excellent.

I watched the start of 'Time of Angels' today, and I don't think there's ever been a better return of a character. (Except for Giles, I suppose, with "I would like to test that theory." Although those were very different circumstances. And River has to do it all backwards, and in high heels! *g*)

I was very intrigued by her first appearance, and since I am a continuity fan above all else was very curious to see if she'd be back. I was not disappointed! (I read a fair few Doctor/River fics before S5 began, but none of them were anywhere near as fascinating and awesome as the real thing turned out to be. I... have written muchly on this subject. *g*)

I like your definition of what kind of show you're currently watching and I could just add : "Ten is moving me beyond my wildest expectations Show" and "Ten and Donna are the best Tardis team Show :)
I need to organize my impressions on the whole season 5 , and post. Maybe next week. I'm letting RL have the priorities at the moment.

Oooooh I watched (and loved) those shows too! Plus the 'Martha Jones is awesome Show' and 'Doctor/Master are totally the OPT of Gallifrey Show' and a whole lot of other ones! (Ten had the same quality that Spike has, of being able to break your heart just with a look...
