Grrrrrrrr.

Dear LJ

What is the point in being run by the GODDAMN RUSSIANS if you can't find the people responsible for the DDoS attacks and break their kneecaps or something...

Pretty much. I think this has finally goaded me over to DW crossposting for good.

Really? I'd thought that if you had crossposting set automatically and then you edited your DW entry, the LJ entry was edited, too. At least, I'm pretty I got it to work last time I was fiddling with this stuff.

Ah, yes. Well, if I stay here, I'll probably drop my extra paid icons over there and buy some here. But I've never figured out any handy fix for the username problem.

Possibly you already knew this already, but getting an lj username/profile link in DW isn't as painful as I was making it; the code is here. So if you can choose to refer to either a person's DW or the LJ all the time, you're set.

If you put user names in this format: [user name="blablablah" site="livejournal.com"] except with <> instead of [], then it will come out fine on the LJ side with no editing required.

Grumble. It's down again, too!

And I need an "angry" icon on DW...

From what I understand, it's the pro-kneecap-breaking people who are responsible for the attacks.
