I ::heart:: my little girl!
The Cherub is having a birthday party for her little friends tomorrow. Since it is a Dress Up Party, I asked her what she's going to dress up as. Her response?
"A fighting princess. Like Princess Leia, when she was shooting at stuff!"
I'm very proud. ♥
(This reminds me that our DVD player broke at the beginning of the summer. When we got a new one a few weeks ago, my daughters wanted to watch Star Wars - the original movies, obviously - Red Dwarf and Invader Zim. I love my family.)

Also I really look forward to when they're old enough to watch Buffy. They've seen the odd episode (Halloween f.e.x) but mostly I'm making them wait.

When my kids went to dress up parties, I used to cheat and dress them in one of their Indian outfits and tell them to say they were Indian princesses.

May she continue to grow up that way, lord knows there aren't enough girls like that out there.
