Today is the_royal_anna's birthday, and, since it falls two days before the Cherub's, I am as always woefully unprepared! Dearest Anna, I hope your birthday is FABULOUS and that people spoil you rotten like you deserve!

Well to be 'on the pull' means to be out looking for a hook-up - f.ex. you can say that a girl 'looks like she's on the pull' if she looks as if she's purposefully dressed to impress and find someone [for the night]. So 'Grab your coat, you've pulled' would be what she might say to the guy decides she fancies, and basically means 'I'm sleeping at your place tonight'.

Which is why it's so particularly amusing when applied to Sherlock, since he has zero interest in any of that. :)

Oh, hee! Totally not at all what I meant to do with that title (I didn't even know such a saying existed!), but that is pretty funny when applied to Sherlock of all people, haha. Thanks for the explanation. :)
