I feel that I ought to rec this! luna_k has put up a love meme. Go leave your name in a comment and people will reply anonymously with nice things! I'm feeling all warm and snuggly after reading the lovely comments people left for me, but there are far too few from my own flist there and I want to reciprocate!

In other news my parents are coming on Saturday and staying for a week (it's sort of their summer holidays), so I'll do my very best to be around, but I might be very lurkery. Also I'll try very, very, very hard to finish 'Maybe Someday'. And sort out the office/guest room of course and do fun stuff with the kids and catch up on my flist and all the fic I missed... ::bangs head on desk::

That Andrew is such a scamp. Apropos of nothing, Sis wandered over the other day and I was (of course) watching BtVS. She looks at the screen and says That blond guy looks familiar, was he in Ypsi (Motor City Buffy Con)? I reply Yes, he was. That's Tom Lenk. He was the one that kept wandering around in the gift shop. While this doesn't sound like a big deal, in fact Sis never pays any attention at all to my Buffy obsession so Mr. Tom must have made a RL impression on her. Hee!
Now don't forget to rest up between cleaning and keeping ready for the parental units. "shakes finger at you"

Now that sounds like "nesting instinct" to me! Take it very easy. Get your parents to take the kids out so you can rest. They don't need to know you rest in from of a monitor....

Sadly no... it is one tip that I'd happily stay away from, but if it doesn't get sorted my parents won't have anywhere to sleep!

I'm sure they'd love to (especially my mother!), but then I'd have to explain where everything goes which is even more tedious!

And I'll do my very best to do some fic writing today! I've already done at least 1/3 of the next chapter. (Greediness is a very good thing! *g*)

Me too! I never tire of it - or the episode. The icon is made by miss_jaffacake and must have been posted in buffyicons at some point in the past... I came across it when uploading new icons.

It was cold and rainy all morning, but it's improved now, so I'm hoping for the best. Although they don't appreciate it when it's too hot, so as long as it doesn't rain they'll be happy! :)

(I'm loving the icon space, but I am trying to pace myself...)
