Hello again!

Am back. Well we came back Monday night, but I was too exhausted to do much except attempt to unpack yesterday. It's good to be home though - my mother, whilst a wonderful person and an excellent hostess, generally drives me half insane every time we visit.

But now we've got a million and one things to sort out - Darcy tends to talk longingly about tiny little bohemian flats in Paris (with attendant poetic poverty) at times like these...

Anyway, yesterday s-i-l had the girls over for a sleepover, so Darcy and I had a lovely evening all to ourselves, and - thanks to youtube, the laptop and Darcy's clever projector + large improvised screen - watched the last episode of Sherlock. Mmmm, Sherlock good. (It's like chocolate, pure indulgence. And so well done/updated. No deep thoughts btw, I just like it.)

That's it for now - I need to go be useful again. Won't be around much I'm afraid, unless any of you feel like baby sitting three girls and sort out the house?

Clean houses are over-rated!

I just got back into town myself and reall, really need to both clean and do some laundry. Bleh.

But glad to hear you guys had fun!

And I'm really hoping for another, longer, season of Sherlock. too much fun!

Oh it's not about cleaning, it's about getting rid of all the junk... (three children, good grief they have a lot of STUFF!)

And yes, we had fun - hope you did too!

Also I could watch Sherlock all day. From what I hear it's already been renewed! \o/

Good to hear about Sherlock renewed! I'd assumed it would be; I think it got really good ratings!

Oh yes, plenty of laundry! (5 people!!!) Although we emptied the fridge & de-frosted the freezer before we left, for which I am exceedingly grateful to myself. :)

And yes, it had excellent ratings. The Moff did it again!

I'm just about to write the postcards from my holiday in July...my summer break has been eaten up by various things, and yesterday I bought a house. But I will catch up properly soon!
