Birthdays - belated and current!

Happy Belated Birthday [livejournal.com profile] jnb71976 - SO SORRY about the belatedness, I am slow and useless!

And Happy Birthday today to [livejournal.com profile] kerkevik - may your day be as gay and bright as that of a Canadian porn star! \o/

In the way of gifts I bring a few Who-related goodies. :)

Firstly the most hilarious macro I have seen in a long, long time. (I don't tend to laugh so hard that I can barely breathe...)

A preponderance of ponds. (Only spoilers for 'The Eleventh Hour', and even so it's a very mild one.)

And since I'm doing macros, I thought I'd point you towards this one too. (For those unfamiliar with the concept of die!Tennant, it usually involves Nine trying to get his own back at Ten, because Ten has stolen Rose. *tear* There's a comm and everything: [livejournal.com profile] dietennant. Start here and then keep going to the next post. Also known as how to waste hours of your life...)

Nine finally gets some revenge with a little help. (Spoilers up to 'Flesh and Stone')

Next is a fabulous little vid:

Hot in Here. Eleven. SPOILERS for The Lodger!!

And finally the most fabulous and adorable fic I've read in a long time:

The Care and Feeding of Tiny Humans (and slightly larger Time Lords). What if the Doctor had come back for wee Amelia after all? Might kill you with cute. ♥

Oh, I suggested that last fic to Miss M. Did she enjoy it?

Awww cute. I didn't disturb her homework, I hope. But aye, nice to find a good fluffy Amelia fic every now and then. ^^ I threw her into a fic I have of Meta making fun of Eleven's hair the other day... For a friend, haha. ^^ Great minds think alike.

I love his hair, too. A part of me died inside while I wrote this. Maybe Miss M'd like it as homework incentive? XD

I don't like S5 and I even I enjoyed that one!

Great rec! I've read other stories by that writer, but this one is a new favorite.

And I forgot all about DieTennant! I've just wasted spend a couple of hours reading though past DieTennant! madness; I missed taking out the recycling. I blame you! :D

OMG, I am gonna waste hours with dietennant... I'm sad at all the photobucket errors though.

Thanks sweetie,

at least now I know why I feel so exhausted all the time, eh? :-) Finding some comfort after the news about Cécile Aubry (at the moment it's this song by Lene Lovich - Home is Where the Heart Is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=072uSyYfXbc).

Listening to the Don Maclean song quite a few times today, though it's meaning has taken on an even deeper meaning this evening.

Did you listen to Karen Gillan on Woman's Hour this morning, btw? I left my cassette recorder running when I left home, so I'll listen when I get home later (as well as online, of course).

Still under Willow & Tara's spell,
Ray.

As an extra bonus, they've started putting the Woman's Hour broadcasts in their permanent archive, so you've got even longer than a week :-)

She's the first item in the programme too. She was just about to answer her firts question, I think, as I walked out the door.

On the musical comfort front, I'm listening to my download of Julie London's jazz version of The Doors' Light My Fire, which is just too superb to describe!

Still under Willow & Tara's spell,
Ray.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! You are so kind :).

Those links are wonderful - the dietennant ones are hilarious. And I haven't seen any of the new season yet, but that fic was so cute it just didn't matter.
