Who wants their own piece of art?

I'm going to take a leaf out of [livejournal.com profile] sdwolfpup's book and offer my services to people. You might remember my 'I'm going to do lots of art and would anyone like to see it?' post from a while ago. Well, that didn't really work out... I did get a project (from my husband's work) which I've practically completed, but it was beyond boring and I've not come up with any brilliant ideas of my own.

So, the premise is this: Is there anything you'd like a picture of (drawing, water-colour, or similar)? Anything really - the stranger the better. A favourite photo or a picture of someone special? Something from a holiday? A view you'd like immortalised? A favourite picture from a comic? Please comment here and put a picture of what-ever-it-is in an e-mail and send it to: me at elisiumfilm dot com. Any and all requests welcome, except fandom-related stuff. Much as I'd like to do it, I doubt an art-college interviewer would be impressed with a portfolio full of pictures of Buffy and Spike kissing (or PuppetAngel, sigh).

I'm not quite sure what to do with the end-results... I could always e-mail them, but I'd like to send them to you, if the postage is not too much... I'll have to think about that one - any suggestions welcome!

Anyway, if you'd like to join in, please do - like [livejournal.com profile] sdwolfpup I'd like to stretch myself and try out lots of different things! I'd love to do a painting f.ex (any subject at all!!), but since they take so (comparatively) long, you'd probably have to pay something... Basically I want to recapture my muse, and you could get your own piece of art! :)

Sorry I haven't replied to this sooner -- I think it just got buried in my Inbox and I thought I had.

I hope you found a copy of the cap. That's a lovely saying, and if you do decide to paint it I'd love to have those words on it.

I'm certainly not in any hurry and I can imagine there would be costs, particularly for shipping. Just let me know what happens.
