I actually really liked the movie and it's the reason I started watching the show with the first episode when it came out...
Same here. Or rather, Darcy loved the film (he has a thing for silly things) and therefore my subsequent obsession is all his fault! ;)

I was really hoping that we'd get all that wonderful, snarky dialogue with the premise I liked but without the high camp. Worked out pretty well!
I should say it did!

But yeah... in the end, far fewer people are ever even going to hear about the comics, much less read them.
If it wasn't for LJ I'd never have heard of them. (This makes me happy.)
