Not to mention that if he did author the prophecy, Spike would be responsible for all those watchers that killed themselves in the 17th century, when they thought Twilight was imminent.
Ah, but I doubt he could have sent it back in time so that nicely puts paid to that possibility! :)

I do wish someone would do right by Spike (and Buffy...and God help me, Angel).
Clearly fic is the way to go! (I have a fic - points to icon - which I never finished but which is about 3 million times better than s8 and uses Spike, Buffy & Angel very well indeed. I hope I some day will the time to work on it again - it's LONG...)
