I guess I'm more intrigued/enamored by the idea that River was way, way, wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy in his future, you know? Made it feel more epic and mysterious to me. I can see that, definitely, but my immediate glee over having her NOW is rather overshadowing that! *g*
And yeah, it's like, all of the sudden there was just this explosion of RTD/Tennant hate all over the place after S4. :P Not to mention CoE... And it's not like I can't see his weaknesses as a writer, but these people seem to think that New Who appeared by sheer magic and then Rusty *ruined* it. If you want to show your flist how you feel, you could always link to Ten Reasons To Love Russell T. Davies, which is a lovely, lovely post! :)
But anyway! Positivity = awesome. :) Stay that way! Hee! x) No worries! (For me it's always been the meta that pulls me in, so in many ways 'liking' is a moot point. F.ex. the Dalek episodes in S3 were *awful* pretty much, but they tied in with the overall theme exceedingly well, so I'm OK with them.)
