LOL I haven't seen this but it made me think of MY comparison---I totally said he was Tigger! LOL! xDD
You MUST go buy it. It is one of the greatest books OF ALL TIME! And yes, your review made me smile. (Great minds and all that.)

That is something I've always loved about the Doctor: he takes them seriously, and treats them with dignity.
This. And I think it speaks volumes about what kind of person he is.

Hahah I noticed this too. Not bad in any way, just very different. Which is good, as it should be. It was a nice familiar phrase though, yeah? :)
Yes it was! :)

Oh yes, and I failed to point this out in my review but it felt so... Doctor, to me. Especially Nine, I suppose. It felt very Nine. But yeah! They think they can get away with something like that? Nu uh. I did like that. Hee!
I liked that bit of writing very much, because (as you say) it was just Doctor-y. Could have been any of them, and I liked that this was what made Eleven Eleven. (I hope that makes sense! *g*)

LOL I really do love that line oh so much. ♥ He just adores his TARDIS so much, the dear.
OTP of OTPs. :)

For one thing I think it's far too soon for "River's Doctor" (being as how she frequently commented on HOW YOUNG he looked----that was only two years ago now -_- I got the feeling it'd be more like centuries of a difference
Ah I see it very differently. River didn't comment on the 'youthfulness' until she really *looked* at him, and I always thought that Journey's End (and Donna's fate) was what aged him - that's the point when he says 'No more Companions', and everything goes downhill. (I also think he went to see River inbetween Specials - since she recognised his face - but was probably rather downcast and old...)

LOL!!! I did not make that connection. OMG. That's just awesome. I think ILU for pointing that out. :D
I'm not even sure I can claim credit for it, since it seems to be all over the place. But I love it too. :)

I like that you're happy about the new season, but make connections to the previous RTD Era (and other eras), and not in a mean or rude compare/contrast fashion (this is what I meant by harsh squee rubbing me the wrong way---bashing doesn't sit well with me, especially when it's something I hold so dear).
Oh I am Pollyanna and I like everything. Well ALMOST everything, but I can be positive about most things, and I adore continuity above all else, so the more ties between Ten and Eleven I can find, the better! (I dislike the sudden Tennant/RTD bashing all over the place, just as much as I disliked all the preemptive Eleven bashing before the ep aired. Fandom is stupid.) Glad that you liked! :)
