Why?
I don't really know what to say and lots of other people have said things already - it's just... we used to live in London. For 3 years. Aldgate East (where the police have confirmed two deaths) was a tubestation we used almost every day. The Royal London hospital where most of the injured are being brought to is where I had Little Miss M. Yesterday (if I hadn't been poorly still) I would probably have made a Squee!Post about London getting the Olympics, especially since we spent a year in Stratford and goodness knows they need the re-generation. Now I'm just upset. Guto Harri said on the news earlier that this was Tony Blair's worst nightmare - the thing that would keep him awake at night. And I think that was fairly obvious in the quick press briefing he did...

It's so scary and sad and frightening.. Hope everyone we know from our lj friends are okay..
Like you said , the name of these different places do something to me , too.
Russel Square? It was the tube station near my hotel when I stayed in London last April.. And of course I know the other places too. I love this city and I pray for all the people there.
I have no words to express exactly how I feel. At least 40 persons are dead.
*hugs you tightly*
