Why?

I don't really know what to say and lots of other people have said things already - it's just... we used to live in London. For 3 years. Aldgate East (where the police have confirmed two deaths) was a tubestation we used almost every day. The Royal London hospital where most of the injured are being brought to is where I had Little Miss M. Yesterday (if I hadn't been poorly still) I would probably have made a Squee!Post about London getting the Olympics, especially since we spent a year in Stratford and goodness knows they need the re-generation. Now I'm just upset. Guto Harri said on the news earlier that this was Tony Blair's worst nightmare - the thing that would keep him awake at night. And I think that was fairly obvious in the quick press briefing he did...

::hugs you all::

ETA: Has anyone heard from [livejournal.com profile] calturner? She's fine!

Hugs elisi. Kings Cross is the station for trains between London and Cambridge, I was supposed to be using it on Saturday: get an Ixxy's bagel, pass the sign for Platform 9 3/4, pop out for a peer round at the front of St Pancras because it's so cool and I always do and it's ::research::... maybe not this weekend.
