SNOW DAY!

Icon is a rather accurate depiction of the view outside my windows. Well, with less TARDIS and reindeer and heavier snowfall! :)

Darcy (to his great relief - it takes him an hour to drive to work) found out his school was closed, but since the girls' schools still claimed to be open we wrapped them all up, turned a snail-rocker/seesaw into a sleigh for the Cherub, and set off for a lovely snowy walk! :) Of course when we got there everything was closed, and we had to turn back on ourselves.

Now we are all snuggled up on various sofas (except Miss M who is outside building snowmen with the girls from next door) drinking hot chocolate and watching 'The End of Time' Part 2 (Darcy hasn't seen it yet).

Life is GOOD! :D

Central heating + a fire in the fireplace = toasty warm! :)

Yep, life is good :) Love the unexpected snow day - I've never had one before! I don't think I can face EoT again just yet, but maybe I'll watch a re-run of another episode. And hot chocolate sounds good..

Sounds like the perfect snow-day to me! We haven't had any snow here in SEattle yet, but there was enough at my mom's house to make up for that.
