I'm about to head out again, but thought I'd first share this fabulous vid I came across:

Slate held a write like Sarah Palin contest. I think this entry should have won, it just captures that run-on thing beautifully:

I've never really seen Top Gear but that Tardis thing was great!

It's a programme about cars, basically! *g* But - they always have a guest, and the guest does a lap on the Top Gear track, which they then watch later, in the studio. (Time is very important, there's a giant [tall!] scoreboard and everything!)

I knew it was a show about cars. I didn't know the format or anything. I knew that one of the hosts was in a bad wreck while filming a few years ago. I even knew that John Barrowman was injured in a crash while filming for the show.

If you ever come across it, I can certainly recommend it - it's very entertaining. (I have ZERO interest in cars.) Essentially it's an excuse for the presenters to behave like 12 year olds. :)

Richard Hammond. Almost died, but obviously someone was watching over him that day!

Nope, that was a different car show! (Fifth Gear) It's easy to these things mixed up. (I'd love for JB to go on Top Gear though!)
