At least it wasn't another child's hair she cut. My brother, aged about 4, cut the hair of the little girl next door. My mother had to go and explain...
I cut all my sister's hair off once and was completely shocked that it didn't come right back. Neither my mother nor my sister have ever let me forget it.
I cut all my sister's hair off once and was completely shocked that it didn't come right back. That's brilliant! I'm sure the Cherub thinks hers would come back immediately too... thankfully she didn't cut off an awful lot.
Neither my mother nor my sister have ever let me forget it. Of course not! What are families for?
Well at least she didn't get a hold of a cat. At that age I cut off my cat's whiskers, and gave her a mohawk. My vet lectured me that cat's need their whiskers and don't wear mohawks
My vet lectured me that cat's need their whiskers and don't wear mohawks Heeee! And I don't think our cat would sit still for her - he's friendly, but not *that* accommodating...
My son pulled that little trick when he was about 4, and afterward he looked like he'd gone through a few rounds of chemotherapy. Had to shave him bald, poor tyke.

I did that when I was about that age too. I saw someone on tv with a neat haircut and asked my mom if she would cut my hair like that. She said that we could pin it up instead, and I guess I didn't think that was good enough, so I tried to give myself a pretty haircut. My poor mom had to cut so much off just to even it out! Be thankful it wasn't that bad. :)

Exactly! She was so pleased! :)
And no, no buzz cut. Her hair is loooong, so she's needed a trim for a good while.
